| The most common form of uterine
cancer affects the endometrium. which is the lining of a woman's uterus.
Endometrial cancer normally strikes after menopause,
and the main warning sign is bleeding (if before menopause then only bleeding
not related to the menstrual cycle). Other symptoms include: pelvic pain and
pain during intercourse. The growth of endometrial cancer is stimulated by the
hormone estrogen. Throughout a woman's reproductive life, the lining of the
uterus grows and shrinks in response to rising and falling estrogen levels
during her menstrual cycle. After menopause, most of the estrogen produced in a
woman's body is produced by fat tissue. High fat diets encourage the development
of fat tissue and the production of excessive amounts of estrogen. |

Endometrial cancer is diagnosed by examining a piece of endometrium, which is
normally removed by a biopsy. Conventional treatment is surgery to remove the
uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries. If the cancer has spread to other areas of
the body, then chemotherapy or radiation therapy may also be used. The doctor
may also use hormonal therapy, in which a form of progesterone, another female
hormone, is used to counteract the effects of estrogen. Some herbal therapies
for endometrial cancer counteract high estrogen levels and also support the
immune system. Always use herbal medicine as part of a medically directed
treatment for endometrial cancer.

| Endometrial cancer refers to many types of malignancies that
arise from the endometrium, or lining, of the uterus. Endometrial cancers are
the most common gynecologic cancer in the United States, with 35,000+ women
diagnosed every year. And the incidence is on a slow rise only secondary to the
obesity epidemic. The most common subtype, endometrioid adenocarcinoma,
typically occurs within a few decades of menopause,
is associated with obesity, excessive estrogen exposure, often develops in the
setting of endometrial hyperplasia, and presents most often with vaginal
bleeding. Endometrial carcinoma is the third most common cause of gynecologic
cancer death behind ovarian cancer
and cervical cancer. A total
abdominal hysterectomy the surgical removal of the uterus with bilateral
salpingo-oophorectomy is the most common therapeutic approach used.
Endometrial cancer may sometimes be referred to as uterine cancer. However,
different cancers may develop not only from the endometrium itself but also from
other tissues of the uterus, including cervical cancer, sarcoma of the
myometrium, and trophoblastic disease. |

You would not think of exposing yourself to an Atomic Bomb fallout or
excessive X-rays. But not getting enough vitamins and minerals is just as
dangerous. Cells in your body not getting their vitamins and minerals suffer
both DNA and mitochondrial damage. These cells under a microscope look like they
have been hit with radiation. This type of damage may cause you to age faster
and can lead to Cancer
and other degenerative diseases like Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and others.
