Are Symmetry Products FDA Approved?
The short answer is: No, there is no such thing. No nutritional product or food supplement is FDA approved. The FDA doesn't do that. However, in a way, there is a disapproval process. All ingredients must appear on a FDA GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) list or be submitted for FDA approval. The FDA even has regulations on what we can and cannot say about our product or how we name it. But, they do not issue an approval after passing inspection.

Why is Advanced Omega a dry caplet not liquid?
A few years ago I saw the results of an independent lab analysis of 100 randomly selected omega/fish oil products. The results showed about 85% were rancid. Obviously such results influenced our choice in how we would produce such a supplement. Just a few weeks ago, Consumer Labs did a similar study looking at 25 fatty acid products. Almost 40% of the products tested failed to meet their standards. Of those tested, 6 did not have the listed amount of stated essential fatty acids and 2 had high peroxide values, indicating spoilage. - This was in spite of the fact that vitamin E had been added as an antioxidant.
