Dr. Frederic Vagnini,  M.D., F.A.C.S.
"As a cardiovascular surgeon, for more than 20 years I was actively engaged in treating cardiovascular disease through the most advanced and complex application of surgical technology - coronary by-passes, heart valve repair, and aneurysm surgery. Over the years we have seen a reduction in the number of invasive procedures due to the advances in less invasive procedures, such as with balloon and laser angioplasties. But what is even more exciting are the advances reported by biochemical laboratories demonstrating the connection between diet, nutrients, blood chemicals, and the abnormalities in one's circulatory system which bring on disease. My hope is that in the future, people will be able to maintain cardiovascular health through diet and lifestyle changes and avoid surgery all together! I strongly believe that products like Cardio Essentials are on the forefront of this new frontier - offering maximum nutritional supplementation targeted specifically at cardiovascular health."

  Ingredient Info

Chromium - is needed for the synthesis of cholesterol and fatty acids. Essential for good utilization of glucose.

Cholestatin - purified plant sterols known to be especially good for heart health

Grape Seed Extract - used for its free radical fighting abilities and for a variety of conditions related to
capillary health and permeability. Synergistic with vitamin C and causes it to be absorbed by the body better.

Guggul - the sticky gum resin from the mukul myrrh tree, plays a major role in the traditional herbal medicine
of India. It was traditionally combined with other herbs for the treatment of arthritis, skin diseases, pains in
the nervous system, obesity, cardiovascular and  high cholesterol, problems.

Lactobacillus acidophilus - is a "good" organism that makes its home in the small intestine where food absorption takes place. It manufactures B-complex vitamins and produces enzymes which aid in digestion. It also destroys problem causing bacteria. Studies show it is effective with yeast infections, herpes simplex I & II, acne, and mouth ulcers.

Hawthorn - this is a powerful and important herb for the heart and cardiovascular system.

Magnesium - combined with calcium, helps to regulate normal muscle contraction and heartbeat

Odorless Garlic - a natural antibiotic to help combat fevers and viruses. It has the ability to destroy harmful bacteria yet leaving good bacteria unharmed.  It contains the mineral germanium which strengthens the immune system. And helps help keep cholesterol in check.

Omega III - essential fatty acid that is present in both fish and plant sources. They assist in the regulation the body's fatty acid metabolism. Fat metabolism is as important, if not more critical than our body's protein and carbohydrate metabolism.

Selenium - required by the body for maximum immune response. Works with vitamin E to protect body tissue from oxidative damage. Assists in prevention of cancer. Helps protect cells from radiation damage.

Vitamin B12 - helps the formation and regeneration of red blood cells. Helps relieve irritability.

Vitamin D - combined with calcium to help maintain normal blood calcium levels

The statistics are truly frightening. The American Heart Association reports that:

  • 1 out of every 2 people has dangerously high levels of blood cholesterol
  • 1 in 5 U.S. deaths are attributable to cardiovascular disease
  • Annually, over 12 million people worldwide die each year from cardiovascular disease
