Urinary
or Excretory System
Excretion means to get rid of something. The excretory
system gets rid of unwanted or harmful substances in your body. Digestion is completed in the stomach and small intestine. The undigested material that is left
passes into
the colon, where it is removed from the body. Liquid waste from cellular respiration
flows through the blood system into sweat glands and exits the body
either as sweat or via the kidneys storing in the urinary bladder until it is expelled as urine.
