One Way Out We crawl blind into this world with clocks and hearts ticking and all their noise clouding our thoughts its hard finding where to go when or what to want how or why to grow there are so many questions with even more answers under great masses of reason and rhyme that guide you to nothing and nowhere deep inside a maze of confusion in a mortal mind pass these all by for you already know what you need to know and have better things to leave behind so be careful what you collect on the way numerous things talk and teach temptation as desires ask for more and more stop and ask is it not true the more we get the less we have and possessions turn to dead weight dragging along stealing precious strength and time as your path becomes narrower and narrower towards a door that looks strangely familiar opening to clocks with the same time closed with hearts of the same mind look if it all appears the same as if you have been here before on another path with some other name dead-ending with this same door try looking back before you came in because sometimes you must look back to see whats ahead and remember this well there is only one one way out out of this world and its the same way in you must leave more than was here and take nothing but what you areBy Mark Borcherding 10/1/1992
