The Direction of Desire

	the rhythm of a great great fire
	dances us higher and higher
	flames follow deeper and deeper
	down down see down
	into what we are
	into what we have been
	one shining soul-born star
	before darkening in the sorrow near sin
	we were walking bright
	started talking about night
	now we are lost light
	needing purpose to focus
	focus our direction
	the direction of desire
	to take us there
	dancing again
	in the love great energy fire
	reflecting rhythm everywhere
	the rhythm of light	
	its sense of direction 
	guiding our senses
	with a small touch of humility
	with a total vision of joy
	with a lingering smell of deep purpose
	with a silent sound of reverence
	with a sudden taste of inspiration
	our souls flicker some light
	sensing the clear direction
	the direction of desire
	for the dance in the great great fire
