In the Quiet Sleep

Walking running talking looking
being always wired
caring sharing learning helping
sometimes feeling tired
but I know theres a danger waiting
waiting for my guard to sleep 
waiting to hit fast
waiting to hit hard
and take everything everything away
the hopes .. life .. the dreams
ripped from me
the danger standing and waiting
for quiet sleep to come
shut close my eyes
to others .. myself .. the world
In the quiet sleep
there seems no pain anymore
In the quiet sleep
there is nothing left to worry for
I want to stay wide wide awake
want to know what dreams are at stake
quiet sleep feeds lifes tears
washing down futures now
hope weakens danger's fears
freeing loves sacred vow

fighting cursing falling dying
danger crashing scared
dreaming thinking knowing loving
I am prepared
to fight the danger waiting
not going to fall asleep
ready to hit back fast
ready to hit back hard
and fight for anything anything I am
my hopes .. life .. my dreams
belong to me
the danger twisting and yelling
for quiet sleep to come
